Job Title: RN – Clinic/Ambulatory
Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Duration: 14 Weeks
The Clinic/Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality nursing care in an outpatient clinical setting. This role requires strong assessment skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with common clinical procedures. The RN supports physicians and providers in delivering safe, patient-centered care to diverse populations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and document findings accurately.
Assist with minor clinical procedures and provide patient education.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed.
Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments according to provider orders.
Coordinate patient flow, appointments, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg or clinic experience required.
IV insertion and phlebotomy skills required.
Required:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Active New York State RN License .
Primary Source Verification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
AHA BLS certification.
AHA ACLS (required for Queens locations only).
