Our client is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Deckhand to join the crew of an 85-foot private yacht. The family enjoys peaceful time aboard with family and friends, occasionally hosting relaxed gatherings of 10-15 guests. As Deckhand, you will assist with the day-to-day exterior operations of the yacht including washdowns, line handling, docking, anchoring, and general upkeep of all exterior surfaces and equipment. This is a small crew, so a team mindset and willingness to assist across duties is key.
The yacht operates seasonally:
Fall/Winter Base: Jupiter, Florida (October–May)
Summer Base: Northeast U.S. cruising from New Jersey to Montauk to Nantucket, typically spending about a month in each location
Occasional Bahamas trips, typically long weekends or up to 4–6 days
Requitements/Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Deckhand on 75 - 100 ft yachts
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and proactive approach
Discreet, respectful, and professional demeanor
