Eminence Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Specialist to support our administrative and clinical operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining patient, caregiver, and billing information while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately enter and update patient, caregiver, and referral information into internal systems
• Maintain electronic and paper records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Process timesheets, service logs, and visit documentation
• Assist with billing, insurance, and payroll data entry as needed
• Scan, upload, and organize documents in patient files
• Generate basic reports and assist administrative staff when required
• Communicate with office staff to resolve data discrepancies
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and company information
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
• Proven experience in data entry or administrative support (healthcare or home care experience is a plus)
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data management systems
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems is an advantage
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
