This is a remote position.
Eminence Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to support our administrative and operational functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining client, caregiver, and billing information in our systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately enter and update client, caregiver, and employee data into internal databases
• Maintain electronic and paper records in an organized and secure manner
• Review data for errors, completeness, and accuracy
• Process timesheets, schedules, and basic billing information
• Assist with document scanning, filing, and record management
• Generate simple reports as requested by management
• Communicate with administrative staff to resolve data discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company confidentiality policies
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree is a plus)
• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in an administrative role preferred
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or similar software
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in healthcare or home care is an advantage but not required
