About The Role

About The Role:

Seeking an experienced UI engineer with strong API development skills to build and enhance analytic applications in an Agile DevSecOps environment. You will design, develop, test, and optimize web services and modern JavaScript-based UIs using REST, JSON, and containerized workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced in front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React).
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs; apply API design best practices and data governance principles.
• Work across the DevSecOps pipeline (JIRA, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Artifactory).
• Use monitoring and performance tools such as AppDynamics, CloudWatch, and Splunk.
• Contribute to test-driven development and Agile sprint workflows.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Phd with 0+ years of relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Python, and Agile development.
• Proficiency in Vue.js or React.
• Experience with Node.js and Neo4j.
• Active TS/SCI with ability to sit for and pass a polygraph

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Vue.js, React
• Knowledge of Cloud/AWS experience.
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.

This position is on-site in Herndon, VA

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
