Reports To: Senior Software Engineer / Application Development Asst. Director

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer II with a strong background in Appian development and full-stack engineering/ App Development. This role is ideal for someone with over 5 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building scalable enterprise solutions.

As a Software Engineer II , you’ll:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications and full-stack components.
  • Build user interfaces and backend services using technologies like JavaScript, React, Node.js, Java, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems via RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
  • Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Document technical designs and support deployment activities.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Appian BPM.
  • Strong full-stack development skills (Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, React/Angular, Node.js).
  • Hands-on experience with Appian 21.x or higher, including SAIL, process models, records, reports, and interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Appian Certified Developer.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, microservices, Appian RPA (Robotic Process Automation).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or other related degree is required. May substitute relevant degree with additional years of experience.

Salary Range: Minimum 41.32/hour - Maximum 72.31/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
