We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join a long-term project with our end client, Johnson & Johnson , through our implementation partner, Accenture . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP Cloud and hands-on experience working within SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement custom applications, services, and extensions using ABAP Cloud .
Utilize ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) for building transactional, analytical, and integration scenarios.
Ensure development aligns with SAP best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support deployment on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ABAP environment, SAP S/4HANA Cloud , and on-premise systems.
Maintain code stability and ensure cloud readiness across all development efforts.
1. Design and develop cloud-based solutions using ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP).
2. Build and optimize CDS Views, OData services, and API integrations.
3. Develop clean, modular ABAP code following SAP Cloud guidelines.
4. Work on S/4HANA Cloud and SAP BTP (Steampunk) environments.
5. Integrate external systems through REST/SOAP APIs using SAP API Management.
6. Collaborate with functional and technical teams for end-to-end delivery.
7. Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
8. Ensure security and authorization in cloud ABAP applications.
