Job Title: Registered Dietitian
Location: New York, NY 10016
Type: Contract | 13-Week Assignment
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $52 – $54/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Dietitian for an exciting job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:Conduct nutritional screenings, assessments, and follow-up evaluations.
Obtain and analyze dietary histories, habits, and preferences from patients and families.
Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement therapeutic diet plans.
Monitor food-drug interactions and document in patient records.
Provide individualized nutrition education and counseling to patients.
Adjust menus and meal plans in accordance with patient conditions and treatment goals.
Interpret laboratory, physical, and social data relevant to nutritional status.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition (Required)
Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience required
2+ years preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Required)
New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (Required for post-acute settings)
AHA BLS Certification (Preferred)
