Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Location: New York, NY 10016

Type: Contract | 13-Week Assignment

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $52 – $54/hour

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Dietitian for an exciting job in New York, NY.

• Conduct nutritional screenings, assessments, and follow-up evaluations.

• Obtain and analyze dietary histories, habits, and preferences from patients and families.

• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement therapeutic diet plans.

• Monitor food-drug interactions and document in patient records.

• Provide individualized nutrition education and counseling to patients.

• Adjust menus and meal plans in accordance with patient conditions and treatment goals.

• Interpret laboratory, physical, and social data relevant to nutritional status.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition (Required)

• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field (Preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience required

• 2+ years preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

• Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Required)

• New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (Required for post-acute settings)

• AHA BLS Certification (Preferred)
