Job Description

Why are we proud of what we do at allnex? We create coatings, products which help protect the world for all nex> t generations – and that’s exactly what you can do joining us!

At allnex, we’re seeking a passionate and results-oriented Regional Account Manager to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the CASE market within a defined territory around the Midwest, Northeast, and East Coast regions.

In this role, you’ll be the trusted face of allnex—fostering meaningful customer relationships, collaborating with distributors, and working closely with internal teams to deliver smart, strategic solutions. You’ll enjoy the autonomy to shape your territory, all while being supported by a collaborative and forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all commercial activities within the assigned region, including direct accounts and distributor-managed customers.
  • Build strong relationships with purchasing, operations, R&D, and executive contacts at customer sites.

  • Lead pricing discussions, contract renewals, and commercial negotiations in line with business unit strategies.
  • Track and manage a pipeline of active projects and opportunities, ensuring visibility through CRM tools.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally — communicating competitive intelligence, unmet needs, and market trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Technical, and Business Management to deliver value and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with distribution partners to ensure coverage, alignment, and performance in the territory.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and regional activity using CRM and business analytics tools.

Required skills and experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in chemical sales, coatings, or related industry roles.
  • Familiarity with distribution models and managing multi-tier customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM, ERP systems, and business reporting tools (Power BI, Excel).
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business preferred).
