One of the most prestigious community hospital in the beautiful, sunny and coastal San Francisco Bay Area is actively looking for a Quality and Risk Management Nurse Director to add to its reputable team of professionals.

The Nurse Director of Quality and Risk Management will work with a medical center that provides comprehensive healthcare services that effectively meet the needs of the surrounding community through compassionate and responsible care for over 50 years. The Quality Improvement Nurse Director will be part of a team that embraces family atmosphere, positive attitude to excel and to provide the best patient care.

The Quality and Risk Management Nurse Director will be responsible for oversight of Regulatory Compliance, Infection Control, Risk Management, Case Management and Quality programs at the hospital. The Nurse Director of Quality and Risk Management will support operations in a manner that is consistent with overall hospital strategies, policies and procedures.

The Risk and Quality Management Nurse Director will coordinate the process to identify, resolve, and track complaints. The Quality Nurse Director will provide initial screening and tracking of unusual occurrences including Sentinel Events. The Quality and Risk Nurse Director will be the designated Patient Safety Officer.

The Quality and Risk Nurse Director will report to the Vice President of Nursing for issues impacting operations and to enterprise Quality Services for compliance with the service standards and practices. The Risk and Quality Nurse Director will be responsible for the most effective use of materials, personnel, and resources to produce positive outcomes in patient care.
