**Aerotek is currently hiring for a maintenance manager in the greater Middle River, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee a small team of mechanics on the second shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance tasks, managing payroll, delegating work, and ensuring the timely completion of planned and emergency maintenance assignments. This role involves inspecting and repairing conveyors, gear reducers, and other machinery, as well as maintaining packaging and production systems. **Responsibilities** + Supervise a small team of mechanics on the second shift. + Manage payroll and delegate tasks effectively. + Create work order schedules and order necessary parts. + Complete both planned and emergency maintenance assignments safely and efficiently. + Inspect and repair conveyors, gear reducers, chains, belt drives, cappers, fillers, hydraulics, and pneumatics. + Repair equipment electrically, including motors, PLCs, gearboxes, and control panels. + Maintain packaging and production systems and equipment. + Complete all required records and paperwork accurately and promptly. + Operate machinery as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance repair, both preventative and corrective. + Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance. + At least 3 years of management experience. **Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to this posting directly.** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middle River, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
