Job Title: Mainframe Operator
Location: Pontiac, MI (Only Local Candidates)
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Onsite Requirement: Yes (No work-from-home option)
Position Overview:
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Mainframe Operator for an exciting job in Pontiac, MI.
Responsibilities:
Monitor mainframe control consoles and periodically check system performance.
Utilize graphical monitoring systems to track availability and status of infrastructure connectivity, assets, and services.
Review and validate mainframe job control language as needed.
Perform deliveries and physical tasks (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds).
Respond to incidents during holidays, day, afternoon, and midnight shifts as required.
Technical Environment & Tools:
Extensive experience with Microsoft Teams (minimum 5 years).
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as What's Up Gold, Pingdom, PRTG, and IBM Mainframe environments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in mainframe operations and incident management.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
