Job Description: Local Truck Driver CDL B Flatbed Delivery

Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL B Flatbed Delivery in Pelham, NH.
Compensation
- Hourly wage of $24.42 to $28.90 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Typically work 40-50 hours per week
- Two Bonus programs available; paid out every 6 months

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Work schedule typically 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00pm-3:30pm; work until work is completed, usually 8-10 hours per day
- No layovers, home every day
- Make 12-15 stops per day; routes cover Southeast Massachusetts
- Orientation/Safety Training in Southington, CT; approximately 3 days, all expenses paid
- Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs
Responsibilities
- Route delivery, driver assist unload, forklift, pallet jack, and/or crane.
- Drive CDL B flatbed to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
- Secure product using straps and tarps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery. Tarps as needed.
- Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
- Provide excellent customer service
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
Requirements
- Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement.
- Minimum of 6 months of CDL B delivery driving experience preferred
- No experience with flatbed and/or crane required; will train the right individual.
- Drive automatic flatbed straight trucks requiring strapping at each stop; tarping as needed.
- Familiar with Smart Drive or other fleet safety technology
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
- Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
- Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
