As a Junior Commercial Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial growth and success of businesses within our community. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial lending, client relationship management, and financial analysis, while working alongside a seasoned team of professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting clients with their borrowing needs, evaluating loan applications, and supporting senior loan officers in managing portfolios. Loan Origination and Evaluation Prepare loan proposals and present recommendations to senior loan officers or loan committees. Assess the financial needs of clients and recommend suitable loan products. Analyze client documents such as financial statements, projected cash flows, and credit histories to determine loan eligibility. Client Relationship Management Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding clients through the loan application process. Act as a liaison between the client and the bank's departments, ensuring seamless communication and transaction processing. Portfolio Oversight Support senior loan officers in monitoring existing commercial loan portfolios. Assist in tracking and analyzing portfolio performance, including payment schedules and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Requirements:
Educational Background Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Experience Prior experience or internship in banking, finance, or customer service is an asset, though not required.
