Description

The Sustainability Programs Intern covers a large sub-set of topics under the broader topic of Sustainability. The position will focus on specific projects such as supplier risk assessment, data benchmarking, data collection systems, and CO2e emissions calculation and reporting. This will be an intern for the summer term.

Responsibilities

Work within established frameworks on the following:
Supplier risk assessments to evaluate supplier performance to established Skyworks’ spec. requirements
KPI compilation and data entry for Environmental (energy, water, waste, emissions, etc…)
KPI compilation and data entry for Health & Safety (TRIR and LTIR)

On-line research of public information to benchmark Skyworks’ Sustainability disclosures to those of industry peers.

Required Experience and Skills

Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental, or related science discipline

Excel – Spreadsheet, graphing, and data management skills
PowerPoint
Familiarity with the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Protocol and its methodologies

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
