Job Description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Driver for our client in Linden, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 9AM - 5:30PM
• Monday - Friday
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $17.50 / hour 

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a certified Sit-Down Forklift Driver to support warehouse operations by efficiently loading and unloading products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe handling of materials in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload materials from trucks and containers
• Safely transport goods throughout the warehouse and staging areas
• Perform daily forklift inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety
• Stack, wrap, and organize pallets in designated storage locations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Support inbound and outbound shipments by staging materials accurately
• Follow all warehouse safety protocols and company procedures
• Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors
• Assist with manual handling tasks when needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors for efficient workflow 

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual in English AND Spanish
• Forklift certification is required
• Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong awareness of warehouse safety and equipment procedures
• Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties as needed
