**Fleet Maintenance Supervisor** + _Direct Placement_ + _Marshall, MI_ + _$75k-$90k (based on experience)_ **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor with strong leadership abilities and maintenance experience. You will lead a team of 6-7 technicians, focusing on the oversight of operations rather than hands-on tasks. **Responsibilities** + Supervise the maintenance shop, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. + Oversee a team responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of a fleet and machinery supporting a post-collection facility. + Ensure repairs and maintenance on equipment, including trucks, containers, and heavy-duty machinery, comply with safety and regulatory standards. + Plan and schedule repair work to ensure safety and minimize lost productivity. + Provide direction to technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of work. + Monitor operational performance and efficiency, providing management reports and recommendations for process improvements. + Conduct daily shop huddles and fleet walks, and manage technician performance, including training and corrective actions. + Perform inspections of outside repairs for compliance with safety and regulatory standards. + Conduct Quality Control Inspections to ensure work is completed correctly. + Oversee complex repair diagnostics and provide necessary coaching. + Maintain advanced knowledge of systems for preventive and repair maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles. + Manage payroll and maintain employee records, including preventive and corrective maintenance documentation. + Prepare and submit budgets for approval. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment. + 3+ years of supervisory experience in a lead technician role or management position. + Thorough knowledge of safe working practices and relevant regulations, including DOT and OSHA. + Expertise in diesel engine, electrical, electronic, and brake systems. + Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or G.E.D. + ASE Certifications: T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems, ASE T2 Diesel Engine, ASE T Master Certified. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Marshall, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
