We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager of Calf Care to work closely with our manager in ensuring the highest standards of calf care and employee satisfaction. Position Overview: As the Assistant Manager of Calf Care, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our calf care program. You will collaborate with the manager to implement best practices that promote the welfare of our calves and create an optimal working environment for our team. Key Responsibilities: Assist the manager in overseeing all aspects of calf care, including feeding, health monitoring, and facility management. Help develop and implement protocols for calf nutrition, health management, and housing conditions. Train, supervise, and mentor staff to ensure effective care and adherence to best practices. Monitor the health and growth of calves, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns. Promote a positive and safe work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication. Collaborate with the manager to improve processes and develop new initiatives for calf care. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Qualifications: Previous experience in calf care or livestock management is preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to continuous improvement. Basic understanding of animal health and nutrition. Proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset.
