ETHICS AND INTERNAL JUSTICE SERVICES VPU The World Bank’s Ethics and Internal Justice Services Vice Presidency (EIJ VPU) is a newly created Vice Presidency within the World Bank Group (WBG) that brings together, under a single umbrella, the WBG’s approach to values, ethics and the resolution of workplace conflict. The EIJ VPU’s vision is to foster a values-based workplace culture and help staff uphold the WBG’s ethical standards. EIJ provides an integrated, empathetic and efficient approach to resolving workplace conflict, allowing staff to focus with urgency on the WBG’s mission. EIJ’s work covers each of the five WBG institutions. The Vice Presidency has recently been organized as follows: 1. Ethics Advice and Early Interventions Department, which consists of:Ethics and Internal Justice Services (EIJ) conducts outreach to inform WBG Staff of the services offered to them by EIJ and provides communications and training activities designed to (i) foster awareness of and adherence to ethical obligations of WBG Staff and (ii) develop the capacity of WBG Staff to resolve workplace conflicts. EIJ may advise or instruct WBG Staff on issues and questions regarding the Principles of Staff Employment, Staff Directives, Code of Ethics and other World Bank Group policies and procedures that are administered by EIJ.
The Ethics Content Designer – Co-creation & Learning, will oversee the development of knowledge and training products to support the prevention and awareness raising portion of the program which includes training content for live deliveries, infographics, training videos, and e-learnings. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of the Manager, ATV, the Ethics Content Designer – Co-creation and Learning will carry out the following duties: • Design and develop engaging, user-centered content ethics-related topics, including conflicts of interest, preventing and addressing sexual harassment, and ethical decision making. • Lead the co-creation process by engaging stakeholders across the organization to inform, test and refine learning products. • Apply design thinking methodologies to develop innovative formats such as e-learning modules, animated videos, toolkits, infographics, and in-person training materials. • Facilitate live workshops and virtual training sessions to promote ethical awareness and behavioral change. • Research ethics and conduct related content (e.g. unprofessional workplace conduct, harassment, sexual harassment, bystander intervention, ethical leadership, conflicts of interest and general compliance topics etc.)• Manage vendors involved in content production (i.e. designers, animators, learning developers), ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. • Collaborate with various analytics specialists to monitor and analyze participants feedback and evaluation data to continuously improve content and delivery. • Collaborate with various analytics specialists to collect and analyze data on training effectiveness, including behavioral ethics insights and indicators of real-world impact on ethical awareness, decision making, and behavior.Selection Criteria
• Masters’ degree or equivalent in law, ethics, education, instructional design, organizational development, business or other relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience preferably in an international or multicultural organization in the following areas: creating content on ethics, integrity, workplace culture, harassment, sexual harassment, or related topics. • Experience leading and facilitating co-creation processes with internal stakeholders to collaboratively develop and refine content. • Proficiency in instructional design, including application of adult learning principles to develop engaging and effective learning products. • Skilled facilitator with experience delivering live (virtual or in-person) workshops and training sessions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information into clear and concise content. • Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Vyond, Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team and/or task force as a participant and with staff at all levels, internally and collaboratively across departments.WBG Culture Attributes:
