De CISO ontwikkelt en implementeert het informatiebeveiligingsbeleid, adviseert directie en bestuur en ziet toe op naleving van wet- en regelgeving. De rol omvat het bevorderen van een cultuur van informatieveiligheid en het aansturen van de tweede en derde lijn. Je werkt volgens NIS2/Cbw en de BIO en fungeert als onafhankelijk adviseur voor directie, bestuur en het college van B&W.
