Purpose:

To provide employment preparation skills, build relationships with employers, assist individuals with job and externship placement, follow up on employed individuals’ progress, and provide alumni support.

• Provide trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally competent services aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
• Develop and maintain an engaging, inclusive, and accessible Career Development curriculum, ensuring that up-to-date industry standards are articulated.
• Provide adequate, consistent, and regularly scheduled instruction to trainees in a variety of settings, including facilitated lectures/workshops, small group instruction, and individualized tutoring.
• Ensure trainees presenting with barriers (behavioral or resource-related) are reality counseled, with clear choices, resources, and support in setting goals. Provide one-one-one coaching to trainees navigating their job searches. Provide quarterly alumni follow-up services.
• Facilitate externship and job placement by building and maintaining relationships with employer partners.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation and data entry.

Requirements:

• Must possess a strong commitment to Brighton Center's Core Values (these can be found in our profile and on our website).
• One year of customer service experience.
• One year of experience coaching/providing case management services in a human service or education field. Alternative applicable experience will be considered.
• Strong digital literacy skills, with the ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce database.
• Acceptable driving record and the ability to travel locally for work-related purposes.
• Healthcare experience a plus, but not required.

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $35,568 - $36,000.
