Job Description:
Join our dynamic team at the Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise as a Bistro Attendant, where you will play a key role in delivering excellent service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing candidates who are passionate about the hospitality industry and are eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests in a courteous and friendly manner, ensuring prompt and efficient service in the bistro area.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them to guests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bistro area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Assist in preparing and serving food and beverages, adhering to the hotel's quality and presentation standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Process transactions and manage billing accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Participate in bistro setup and closing duties, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or customer service industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation.
- Must be legally able to work in the country.
